June 2021

June was crazy. We kicked off the month still with some lingering Hand Foot Mouth and ended it with a never-ending stomach bug…we are over being sick to say the least. It was our first full month in our new house and we are definitely still adjusting. We are ready for the day that we can have a sickness-free week so that we can settle into a new routine here and start to get our house feeling more like home to us. Here are some pictures from the month!

We kicked off the month with some fun berry picking!
Joshua did awesome! We picked 12 pounds and made so many yummy treats.
Noah played in ant piles and mud pits and had an absolute blast, ha!
Noah has been water-obsessed all month. He can’t get enough of it! He has no fear which is cute and terrifying.
Joshua used to not be so fond of the water, but as of this month he loves to swim! This makes everything so much fun!
Nana & Pop went under contract on a cute Victorian farmhouse on 3 acres that they should close on in a couple of weeks. The new house is 10 minutes away from our house and the boys are excited for the adventures they will get to have in the exploring in their woods and splashing in the pool!
Can’t keep these boys off the porch swing! They’re getting so OLD!
The boys are starting to hug which is precious when it happens. They are also starting to fight…. a lot 😉
We threw a super fun feast day party for St. Anthony! There were like 20 adults and 40 kids and it was absolutely out of control crazy and fun. This was the only picture we got from the night of 1/8 of the kiddos enjoying the porch swing!
Jonathan came for a visit from Colorado!
We got to enjoy some pizza with him at our new-found favorite restaurant.

A couple times this month, I thought I heard Noah awake, but instead came in to find this precious sight.
It happened again and I wasn’t mad about it…look at that face!
I got into sourdough this month thanks to some peer pressure from some great friends. Still learning, but look how fun!
Brianna shared her starter with me and here is a picture of it extra bubbly, just like we like it! I really can’t believe it is still alive.
These sourdough cinnamon rolls were out of this world delicious…
We love our visits from our friend Angel who will be entering the Norbertines in California in August! We have been soaking up all of the time we have left with him.
Joshua and Lily having a blast at the splash pad!!!
Joshua started Soccer this month!!! He’s still warming up, but once he gets into it, he has a blast!!
We still have been enjoying our new YMCA…especially Noah in the childcare. Doesn’t he look so old here just sitting in a chair?!
Love these kiddos. It has been great being by some awesome families.
Last but not least, yes, Noah pooped all over our stairs and rubbed it everywhere. I hope it gives you a good laugh because I’m still trying to laugh about it….

I hope you all have had a wonderful June! We are looking forward to celebrating our FOURTH wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks. What are you up to next month?
